Join 7X World Champion Vekked, for a deep dive into SCRATCH TECHNIQUE. This 4-part series will cover the 30+ scratch techniques to help you level up your scratching in time for battle season! Styles covered in this bootcamp are:
-Cutting Edge Clicks: This session will cover all things fader-oriented: advanced 3-4 and 5 flares, boomerangs, autobahns, prisms + more.
-Whips, Waves and Tears: Improving record control fundamentals, and covering more advanced record movements to put under, over, and in-between your clicks.
-Fader-less and Fader-only: Some more extravagant scratches to spice up your style, some using 2 hands on the record, some using 2 hands on the fader, some using multiple faders at once!
-Freestyling, Flow + Combos: Finally, we will cover some bread &. butter combos for your new techniques, basic polymeters, and some pitch and flow related tech to make everything SOUND NICE!
This bootcamp also comes with:
-custom scratch tools created by Vekked
-drills to practice each technique
-personal feedback every week on a video you submit
-DJ history links to classic videos to study and reference the techniques from
-a recording of each session to re-watch forever! No worries about not being able to make it to the live session.
This package comes with 4 sessions of 90mins each for 6 hours total live training. Each class runs from 9PM-10:30PM EST via Zoom starting weekly from April 14th to May 5th. Refer to the flyer on the side for more information.
